This instrument simulates the pilling or pilling performance of fabrics under wearing and normal use conditions, and can be used for clothing, home textiles and automotive interior materials including woven fabrics and knitted fabrics. The test sample needs to use a pilling rating sight glass, light box or similar in this box to compare the rating with the standard pilling chart.
